Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Habit Trackd, operated by Dean Santillan processes information when you use the Habit Trackd iPhone app and supporting online services.
Information we collect
- Account details such as your name, email address, password hash, timezone, and email-verification status.
- Your habits, schedules, routines, completion history, reminder choices, and calendar-sync preferences.
- Google Calendar connection tokens when you choose to connect Google Calendar. Calendar event details are processed to show conflicts and create habit blocks.
- Basic operational logs needed to secure and maintain the service.
- Waitlist details such as your name, email address, consent time, and campaign source when you ask to receive launch updates.
Permissions on your device
Notification and Apple Calendar permissions are managed by iOS. You can change them at any time in iPhone Settings.
How information is used
We use this information to provide syncing, reminders, routines, statistics, optional calendar integration, account support, fraud prevention, and service reliability. We do not sell personal information, run behavioural advertising, or use third-party advertising SDKs.
Service providers
Hostinger provides application, database, backup, and email infrastructure. Apple processes App Store purchases and platform permissions. Google processes optional Google Calendar connections under Google's terms. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services and are expected to protect it appropriately.
Retention and deletion
Account content remains until you delete it or your account. Password-reset records expire after one hour. Login sessions expire after 30 days or when revoked. Operational security records may be retained for up to 90 days. Account deletion removes the live account and associated habits, routines, completions, sessions, and Google connection. Residual copies may remain in restricted disaster-recovery backups for up to 30 days before automatic expiry, unless longer retention is legally required.
International processing and security
Service providers may process information outside your country. We use HTTPS, password hashing, access controls, revocable sessions, device data protection, and encryption for stored third-party access tokens. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can keep individual habits off connected calendars, disconnect calendar access, export your completion data, archive habits, or permanently delete your account and associated data from Account Settings. Every waitlist and marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
Children
Habit Trackd is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us to request removal if you believe a child has created an account.
Your rights and contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, object to processing of, or delete personal information. Use Account Settings or contact support@habittrackd.com. The service is operated by Habit Trackd, operated by Dean Santillan.
